AquaAdvisor

AI-enabled industrial water intelligence

Know what your water will do next.

AquaAdvisor models the chemistry, predicts the asset, and manages the program — cooling towers, exchangers, boilers, membranes, closed loops, and downhole wells. AI-delivered insights on a physical chemistry foundation. Works with the products you already sell. Cloud or on-premise. We do not sell chemicals.

Software-only · Physics-grounded · Built for service teams · Cloud or on-premise · API-first

AquaAdvisor account overview for a cooling tower: live pH, conductivity, and temperature; a tower chemistry and microbial-risk chart; calcite saturation kinetics; and ranked action items.
AquaAdvisor — cooling-tower chemistry, saturation, and action items for an account you treat. Demo tenant, not a customer site.

We do not sell chemicals, and we do not compete with the treatment program you already run. AquaAdvisor is software only — it makes the program you run easier to defend and scale across every account.

THE PROBLEM

The tools service teams are asked to work in

A chemical-major’s portal puts their brand in your customer’s plant.

Your account history, baselines, and evidence live inside a competitor’s system — and you lose them if the account or product line changes.

Dashboards trend. They do not predict.

Conductivity charts tell you what already drifted. They cannot tell you the deposition rate at the exchanger wall next week.

The chemistry is being approximated.

LSI and RSI are screening heuristics from the 1940s. Real systems need speciation, activity models, and kinetics.

PLATFORM

Six layers. One system.

From the physical chemistry solver up through AI, programs, and commerce — click a layer to see what it does.

AI LAYER

AI that stands on real chemistry.

Three things AI does here, and one thing it never does.

Insights and reports

Plain-language interpretation of what the chemistry and assets are doing at each account, with the reasoning shown. Monthly and quarterly reports written for your QBRs, not templates you fill in.

Supervision

A continuous watch over every telemetry stream and every twin across the accounts you treat. It catches sensor drift, bad lab data, and models that have stopped tracking reality — before your team acts on a bad number.

Optimization

Recommended setpoints and program adjustments that balance scale risk, corrosion risk, water use, energy, and chemical cost against the constraints of each account you treat.

What it never does is invent the chemistry.

Every insight, alarm, and recommendation traces back to a solved chemistry state with a reported residual and provenance.

HOW YOU USE IT

Three ways to use AquaAdvisor

  • Monitor & model your fleet

Full tracking, trending, and digital twins across the customer accounts you treat.

  • Model a system before you quote it

Predictive system design before you bid: feed water scenarios, cycle limits, material selection, treatment strategy.

    Design modeling →
  • Embed our engine in your portal

License the chemistry API. Ship water chemistry inside your own customer portal without building a solver.

DEPLOYMENT

Runs in our cloud, or on the customer’s network.

Some accounts cannot send process data off-site. AquaAdvisor deploys as a full on-premise installation behind the customer’s firewall — including air-gapped sites — with the same chemistry engine, the same asset models, and identical results to the hosted service. No feature tier is reserved for cloud customers.

INDEPENDENCE

Why independence matters

What changes when the platform is software-only — not owned by a chemical major, and not competing with the program you sell.

DimensionCaptive chemical-major platformAquaAdvisor
Who owns your dataTypically the chemical-major’s system; your book of business sits in their portalYou own your account data; export is a standard product feature
Does the platform compete with chemical salesThe platform exists to hold the chemical-major’s product lineSoftware-only; we do not sell chemicals or compete with your program

Chemistry transparencyOften opaque indexes or black-box scoringResidual, database, activity model, and solver tier — visible in technical reviews

TEAM

Built by water people

AquaAdvisor was not built by a software company that discovered water. It was built by water treatment engineers with more than 30 years of combined field experience — designing cooling, boiler, and membrane programs, running consulting teams for multinationals, and knowing what a service team needs to defend and scale a program across every account.

JG

Jim Green

Founder

25+ years in industrial water treatment with a computer science degree. Carried the test kit for field service for years, led top-tier technical consulting teams for multinational operators and service programs; led innovation and product management designing cooling, boiler, RO programs and more across heavy industry, data centers, and commercial/institutional systems.
